There are positive and negative aspects of mold. We may not think about how we use mold in our daily lives, but it’s found in our cheese and used as a sweetener in candy, and in medicine in the form of penicillin.

Certain kinds of mold can cause significant harm when left uncontrolled in a community. As a team member in this industry it is crucial that you understand mold, how it reproduces, what it needs to thrive, and how to control and remediate it.
