Course Description

All we have to do to understand the prevalence of workplace violence in the U.S. today is listen to the news. Workplace violence training is more important than ever. The more you know, the better prepared you’ll be to keep yourself safe at work and respond to workplace violence situations, should you experience them. In this series of 3 short courses, you’ll learn about how to respond if an active shooter targets your workplace, as well as other types of violence that may occur in the workplace, how to recognize warning signs, and strategies you can use prevent or minimize threats to your security. The training has been broken into short 20-minute mini-courses so you can take one, then take a break and come back and take another when you are ready.
