To obtain the CAPS credential, candidates must complete the following within 6 months of declaring candidacy:
- Minimum of 24 months of experience as a multi-site supervisor OR 24 months of experience as an apartment manager plus CAM
- Successful completion of all five CAPS coursework (totaling 10 hours)
- Meet all examination standards
