Designation Requirements
To earn the CAPS designation, participants must successfully complete all course modules and pass a comprehensive examination within six months of purchase date. Additionally, candidates must have a minimum of two years of experience in rental housing management in a portfolio supervisor role OR 2 years of experience as a property manager with the Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) designation.
The 6-month credential candidacy period begins on the purchase date of the CAPS course. Once all five CAPS modules are successfully completed, students should send their Visto transcripts to education@naahq.org. Students who take longer than 6 months to complete the program must pay the $75 extension fee.
